Daughter of Autumn

Artistic, Portraits

This post is long overdue. Unfortunately (or fortunately) life moves at a quicker than quick pace around here, so this post has been sitting in my Drafts for 4 months. But, here it is, finally. Thanks for your patience.

This concept came to me around 4 years ago. My dad had been out hunting and had taken down a small buck. I saw the antlers, and into my mind’s eye flashed an image of a woman with the antlers adorning her head. It has gradually fleshed itself out into a “Four Seasons” series. But I knew I wanted my models to have a more feral look to them, as opposed to just being pretty.

I was finally able to assemble all of the supplies, find the right girl, and make the shoot happen…well, I couldn’t be more pleased with the results.

So now I give you…Daughter of Autumn.
