I had way too much fun with these two.

Daughter of Winter
Artistic, Miscellaneous, PortraitsAs I mentioned in the Daughter of Autumn post, the idea evolved into one of doing each of the four seasons. So, here is the next installment.

Daughter of Autumn
Artistic, PortraitsThis post is long overdue. Unfortunately (or fortunately) life moves at a quicker than quick pace around here, so this post has been sitting in my Drafts for 4 months. But, here it is, finally. Thanks for your patience.
This concept came to me around 4 years ago. My dad had been out hunting and had taken down a small buck. I saw the antlers, and into my mind’s eye flashed an image of a woman with the antlers adorning her head. It has gradually fleshed itself out into a “Four Seasons” series. But I knew I wanted my models to have a more feral look to them, as opposed to just being pretty.
I was finally able to assemble all of the supplies, find the right girl, and make the shoot happen…well, I couldn’t be more pleased with the results.
So now I give you…Daughter of Autumn.

Artistic, PortraitsKunz Wedding – July 25th, 2015
Portraits, WeddingsOnce upon a time…
I had the opportunity to photograph a gorgeous girl – we shot her senior portraits. It was my pleasure to photograph her again, this time to document her wedding day.
Many would say a wedding is made in the details. The details of Aimee & Matt’s wedding were pretty much perfect.
A gorgeous outdoor location complemented by warm and sunny weather.
The bride’s bouquet, courtesy of her sister-in-law, who designed all the floral pieces for the wedding.
Their cake was a lovely piece that matched the rest of the decor perfectly.
I loved seeing the happiness these two already share.
One of my favorite shots from the day – just look at the adoration in her eyes.
The last shots of the day.
Matt & Aimee, I had a great time at your wedding and it was my pleasure to capture all of the magical moments you shared with your friends and family! Thank you so much for inviting me to be your photographer!

Potato Patch Shootout – Floral Steampunk
Artistic, PortraitsI am a member of The Potato Patch, which is a group of photographers located here in Southeastern Idaho.
Occasionally we’ll come together to do a themed shoot.
This one was organized and styled by the group’s founder, talented photographer of Vanilla Tree Photography, Catherine Auger.
I had so much fun! Here are a few of my favorite shots from the session.
